Two roads to Cannes

The motorway, or the coast through Antibes

The direct way is the A8 motorway west from the airport, then down into Cannes. It covers the 31 km (19.5 miles) to the Palais des Festivals in about 40 minutes when traffic is light, and closer to an hour on busy summer days. Tolls are already in your fare.

The other way follows the sea through Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Golfe-Juan. It is slower, often by a quarter of an hour or more, but it is the road to take if you want a short stop or a first look at the coast. Tell us when you book and your driver plans the ride that way.

From Nice city centre the distance is almost the same, 33 km (20.4 miles), with no airport traffic at the start.

What the fare covers

  • The whole van for your group, not a price per person
  • Fuel and motorway tolls
  • Flight tracking and a name sign in Arrivals
  • Help with luggage, up to 6 pieces with 7 passengers
  • An English-speaking chauffeur

From Nice airport to Cannes, fares start at €185 for the van and €130 for a saloon. Your exact price is shown in the booking form before you pay. See how our fares work.

Nice to Cannes questions

Is the train not easier?

The coastal train is quick between city centres. With luggage, children or a hotel away from the station, a private van saves the walk, the stairs and the second connection at each end.

Can you take us from Cannes to Saint-Tropez afterwards?

Yes. Ask for both rides in one quote. Our Saint-Tropez transfer page explains timings on that road.

How long can a stop in Antibes be?

A short stop of a few minutes can be added to a transfer. For a longer visit, book a day tour or an hourly booking instead.

Do you also drive from Cannes to Nice airport?

Yes, every day, for hotels, villas and yacht ports across Cannes.

Is the price per person?

No. The fare is for the whole van, whether you travel alone or with six others. A saloon is available for up to three passengers with lighter luggage.

What happens if my flight to Nice is late?

We follow your flight, so your driver adjusts to the real landing time. You do not need to call us when there is a delay.

Can you drop us at the boats for the Lérins islands?

Yes. We can take you straight to Quai Laubeuf in the old port, where the ferries to Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat leave. Buy the boat tickets with the ferry operator.
